Advertising ROI (Return on Investment) is an important performance metric that measures the return on investment of an advertising campaign. ROI is calculated by the revenue generated compared to the cost of the ad. This analysis is used to evaluate the effectiveness of the advertising budget and maximize return on investment.
Dataset Description
The data set we created for this project includes the metrics necessary to analyze the costs and revenues of different advertising campaigns:
CampaignID: Unique ID of each campaign
AdID: Unique ID of each ad
AdStartDate: The date the ad started
AdEndDate: The date the ad ends
AdBudget: Budget allocated for advertising
Revenue: Income from advertising
Project Steps
Data Loading and First Look: We will load the dataset and get an overview. We will examine the structure of the data and detect missing or incorrect data.
Cleaning of Missing and Erroneous Data: We will fill in the missing values and correct the incorrect data. In this step, we will perform the necessary cleaning operations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data.
ROI Calculation: We will calculate the return on investment of the ads. This is achieved by dividing the revenue generated by the advertising budget.
Data Analysis and Visualization: We will analyze the calculated ROI values and visualize the results. In this step, we will examine the distribution of ROI, campaign-based performances, and time-based analysis.
Developing Advertising Strategies: We will optimize advertising strategies by identifying ads with the highest ROI. In this step, we will identify the common characteristics of high-performing campaigns and develop strategies to improve the performance of other campaigns.
Evaluation of Results and Optimization Strategies: Based on the results obtained, we will make general strategic recommendations. We will provide suggestions to ensure the most efficient use of the advertising budget and increase customer interaction.
